Main Ingredients:

  • Wheat flour noodle

  • Ground pork or tofu topping (V)

  • Sauces including dandan sesame sauce, Sichuan peppercorn, peanuts, scallion oil, garlic and flavored soy sauce or house-made Sichuan 复(Fù)制(Zhì)酱(Jiàng)油(Yóu).

  • Contain peanut, soy and wheat

STORAGE TIP: Store your noodle kit in a freezer if you do not plan to cook them within three days after purchasing; the food should keep for up to three weeks if frozen. If you have a par-cooked noodle pack, they might not be as good as the fresh ones after freezing. If you have fresh noodle packs, defrost them first before cooking. Noodles are made fresh with no additives and they need to cook gently.

NEW PACKAGING COOKING DIRECTIONS

( The kit includes: 2 portions of wheat noodles, pork or tofu toppings, 1 pouch of the soy suace, 1 bag of the dan dan sesame sauce and the flavored oil, and 1 bag of peanuts

1: ADD – flavored soy sauce, dan dan sesame sauce to a noodle bowl; set the bowl aside.

2: ADD – 5 cups of water to a pot; adjust the amount of water as preferred.

3: SET – stove to MEDIUM or HIGH heat and bring water to a boil.

4: REMOVE – par boiled noodles from the sealed package; add noodles to the boiling water (use caution!). Do the same with the washed vegetable greens of your choice and stir in the boiling water for up to 20 seconds (stirring for longer could diminish aldente texture of noodles).

(Note: If you have different noodle packs, cook dry rice noodles for 30 seconds to 1 minute; cook dry wheat noodles for 2 to 3 minutes).

5: REMOVE – pot from heat.

6: TAKE – ½ cup of hot water from the pot and add it into ingredients in the noodle bowl; stir until ingredients and sauce are dispersed evenly.

7: STRAIN AND MOVE – noodles and vegetables of your choice to the sauce bowl.

8: TOP – noodles with cooked ground pork with mustard leaves (or tofu with mustard leaves), and peanuts; mix all ingredients together to your satisfaction.  Add extra salt or sprinkle with chopped fresh scallions if desired.

9: DEVOUR and ENJOY.
